Medical Grade Chemical Peels
Medical-Grade Chemical Peels
Deep Exfoliation for Anti-Aging and Skin Rejuvenating Results
Whether administered as a stand-alone treatment or to complement other procedures, medical-grade chemical peels can be an extremely effective method for addressing challenges associated with aging, dull, or acne-prone skin. At Elite Aesthetics, we have curated a collection of our favorite medical-grade chemical peel treatments based on efficacy, safety, amount of downtime, and short and long-term results.
There are a variety of medical-grade chemical peels available for deep, thorough penetration of the skin; however, they vary by formula and effect. As a rule, Medical-Grade Chemical Peels use an acid solution to remove dead and damaged upper layers of the skin to smooth and refine its texture and tone.
Medical-Grade Chemical Peels can address:
- Large Pores
- Acne Scarring
- Sun Damage
- Uneven Skin Tone
- Overall Skin Texture
- Mild-to-Severe Acne
- Fine Lines and Moderate-to-Severe Wrinkles

The ZO Ossential Stimulator Peel
Typically, 20 minutes long, this no-fuss “lunch-hour” peel boosts and brightens the skin without downtime (very minimal flaking, if any) through a combination of lactic, citric, and salicylic acid in addition to other active exfoliants. The ZO Ossential Stimulator Peel, a treatment gentle enough to schedule weekly, provides a healthy exfoliation, stimulates the growth of collagen and elastin, while reducing the appearance of lines, wrinkles, and other imperfections. Ideal for addressing fine lines, uneven texture, and a dull appearance to the skin. Pairs well with Dermaplaning.
The ZO 3-Step Peel
This powerhouse medical-grade peel addresses common skin concerns such as acne, laxity, sun damage, uneven tone, lines, and wrinkles, stimulating epidermal renewal and new collagen to restore and support hydration.Through a combination of salicylic acid, trichloroacetic acid, and lactic acid, formulated with luxe, rich nutrients and retinol, patients can expect exfoliation and peeling as soon as two days post treatment, which typically lasts up to five to seven days. During this “downtime,” you may experience redness, dryness, itching, and some inconsistencies in skin tone; however, this is a normal reaction and you can expect mild to moderate flaking. For optimal results, we typically suggest scheduling this peel every three to four week until you reach your desired results, followed by two to three maintenance treatments per year.
As advocates for GMC Medical Skin care, we provide a variety of peels developed by the cosmeceutical. The treatment below are ideal for patients seeking little-to-no downtime and instant visible impact leaving the skin soft, bright, plump and luminous. Pairs well with Dermaplaning.
Derm Renewal: Addresses fine lines, wrinkles, and congested skin

Glycolic: Combats fine lines and wrinkles, photo-aging, dull skin, and other imperfections

Modified Jessner Peel: Treats acne-prone skin, blemishes, photo-damage, hyperpigmentation and mature skin
Am I an Ideal Candidate for Medical-Grade Chemical Peels?
As you can imagine, there are no two skin types considered to be identical; therefore, at Elite Aesthetics we begin all treatments with a complementary and comprehensive consultation in which we discuss your goals, your challenges, and your unique skin chemistry; Afterwhich, our skincare experts guide you on how we have selected the right peel for you and what to expect.
As we mentioned, chemical peels can be ideal for boosting the benefits of daily and monthly skincare maintenance or in combination with other intensive skincare treatments such as lasers or injectables. We will address this during your consultation in order to achieve your most optimal results.
Those suffering from severe acne, extremely sensitive skin, heart disease, and or cold sores are less likely ideal candidates.
Is There Downtime Involved with Medical-Grade Chemical Peels?
While it is extremely common for medical-grade peels to induce deep exfoliation—a true peeling effect and “turn-over” of the skin—and different degrees of redness, Dr. Lieman continues to seek out the most effective, yet practical and efficient peels to keep patients comfortable and able to spring back into daily routine with a fresh face sooner rather than later. The immediate effects of our chemical peels induce mild peeling with little to no downtime. In most cases, peeling and skin turn-over subsides within a few short days with proper aftercare and maintenance.
Are Chemical Peels Safe?
Chemical Peels are safe; however, they must be administered by a professional skincare expert or medical professional. As with any treatments involving aggressive ingredients including acids, there can be adverse reactions such as infection, numbness, or scarring; however, this is very rare and we are able to help determine your candidacy by taking a close look at your skin and asking a few medical questions in advance. And, of course, you are less likely to experience any of these reactions if you closely and carefully follow the pre- and post-care guidance we provide.
